POKOTABI / Sushi Nomitomi
寿司の三富
Sushi Nomitomi in Katsushika Ward pairs nigiri like Pacific bluefin tuna and wild amberjack with cooked izakaya staples, fried dishes, and sake.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Located in Yotsugi, Katsushika Ward, Sushi Nomitomi functions as both a dedicated sushi shop and an izakaya with a broad lineup of small plates. Diners can sit at the counter or tables, start with appetizers over drinks, and move on to nigiri whenever the mood strikes.
The starter selection ranges from light bites like morokyu cucumber with miso, Chinese yam pickled in wasabi, and salted squid guts with grated daikon radish, through to fragrant pans of scallops and mushrooms sauteed in butter or squid tentacles in butter. Hot dishes are equally varied, featuring local jidori chicken yakitori, tonpeiyaki pork-and-egg pancakes, omelet yakisoba, mixed tempura, and deep-fried horse mackerel. Drinks to accompany them include draft beer, Hoppy, and regional sake labels such as Urakasumi and Dassai.
After savoring the cooked fare, moving on to nigiri brings pristine seafood to the fore: Pacific bluefin tuna in otoro, chutoro, and akami cuts, alongside seasonal options such as wild amberjack, Japanese horse mackerel, and gizzard shad. Gunkan-wrapped Hokkaido sea urchin, salmon roe, Takeoka octopus, ark shell, and simmered conger eel let you assemble a tailored finish piece by piece.
Table reservations are accepted, takeout orders can be placed, and payments via PayPay are supported.
